Rules and policies for fundraisers

Before your fundraiser can start making sales and raising money, Rowe Farms requires a letter from the organization describing what the proceeds will be used for in high level terms. This letter must be on official letterhead and signed by a representative of the organization. The final cheque from Rowe Farms will be made out to the name of the organization.

Legal disclaimer

The undersigned represents and warrants that he/she (hereinafter referred to as “Organizer”) is fully authorized to enter into this Third Party Fundraising Liability Release Agreement (this “Agreement”) with Rowe Farms and agrees to be bound by all of the terms and conditions stated herein.

  1. Insurance and Licenses. If Fundraiser is conducting a physical or virtual event in connection with their fundraising activities, Fundraiser is responsible for providing insurance as required by law or established business practice. Please note that Rowe Farms’ insurance policy does not cover Third Party Fundraisers. Fundraiser is responsible for obtaining any necessary licenses, permits and clearances as required by local and provincial government, and for complying with all applicable laws.
  1. Liability and Indemnity. Applicant hereby fully releases and agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Rowe Farms and its employees, officers, directors, volunteers, representatives, agents, contractors, and licensees, together with their insurers, from and against any and all causes of actions, liabilities, claims, losses, charges, damages, costs or expenses, including reasonable attorney’s fees, arising out of or occasioned (a) by any act or omission of Fundraiser or Third Party Fundraiser organizer, or their officers, partners, employees, agents, volunteers, contractors, licensees, guests, invitees, or attendees, in connection with the Third Party Fundraiser; and/or (b) by any breach of any provision of this Agreement.
  1. Event Safety. If a physical event is held by the Fundraiser in conjunction with online sales, Rowe Farms is not responsible for the safety of Third Party Fundraiser participants or attendees. It is the Fundraiser’s responsibility to ensure the safety of all Third Party Fundraiser participants and attendees, especially minors, and have the appropriate insurance coverage.
  1. Promotion. It is Fundraiser’s responsibility to promote the Third Party Fundraiser. Rowe Farms has no obligation to promote or advertise the Third Party Fundraiser, and generally will not promote or advertise Third Party Fundraisers, except as mutually agreed upon in writing. 

Return policy

Rowe Farms stands by the quality of all products and will replace any item that is deemed unsatisfactory with an item or equal or greater value. There are no cash returns.

Drop off policy

All fundraiser participants will be required to pick up their order within a clearly specified window. Any unclaimed orders are not guaranteed after this window as they require refrigeration.
